Develop the practical skills to independently analyze clinical research data through an intensive, hands-on program using JMP statistical software. Across 22 interactive sessions, participants will work with approved datasets from completed or ongoing microscopIA research projects, or datasets generated specifically for training. Every exercise begins with a clinical research question and guides participants through the analytical decisions required to produce scientifically rigorous results. Participants will reproduce statistical workflows for retrospective studies, prospective investigations, and clinical trials. The program covers data preparation, descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, effect estimation, regression, survival analysis, longitudinal data, confounding, missing data, sensitivity analyses, and other methods relevant to clinical research. Participants will also learn to interpret findings and generate publication-ready tables, figures, and statistical results. Rather than following a rigid lecture-based syllabus, each session focuses on supervised practical exercises and independent problem-solving. The research challenges may evolve according to the datasets and analytical methods being explored. Classes take place online in English every Tuesday and Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Colombia time, between October 1 and December 15, 2026. Live attendance is optional. All sessions are recorded and published on the course page within 48 hours for eligible members. To receive a microscopIA Certificate of Assessed Completion, participants must pass a supervised practical examination involving the independent, real-time analysis of an approved clinical research dataset. A minimum score of 90% is required. Each participant has one attempt and may select from three examination time slots. The course is included at no additional charge exclusively for active Research & Career Elite members. Participants must have suitable access to JMP. Training datasets are provided exclusively for authorized educational use.
