01

About the Service

microscopIA provides online psychological support for children and adolescents, adults and older adults, and couples, according to the scope of the assigned psychologist.

The Mental Health Pilot is transitioning into a formally registered, Colombia-based healthcare service within the microscopIA services umbrella. The transition is expected by December 2026, while international access and additional languages continue to expand subject to applicable requirements.

02

Membership and Monthly Access

Participants must activate the free Mental Health Access Membership when booking for the first time.

The membership allows up to two psychological sessions per calendar month, subject to availability and clinical suitability. Unused sessions do not carry over to the following month.

03

Booking, Rescheduling, and Attendance

Appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.

Participants may cancel or reschedule through My Bookings at least 24 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may count toward the monthly session allowance.

Participants must join from a private environment with reliable internet, functioning audio, and a working camera.

04

Fees and Accessible Care

Sessions are free through October 31, 2026. Starting November 1, 2026, the standard fee is USD 5 per session.

Care remains free for residents of eligible low-income economies, participants aged 65 or older, and Research Elite Members within their included monthly allowance.

The USD 5 fee contributes to the program’s financial sustainability. As part of its social responsibility commitment, microscopIA subsidizes most program expenses to make psychological care accessible worldwide. Donors may also support the initiative.

05

Privacy, Safety and Scope of Care

Sessions are confidential and subject to applicable professional and privacy requirements. Participants must provide the information necessary for safe care, including their current location and emergency contacts. Parent or legal guardian consent is required for minors.

This is not an emergency service. Psychologists may activate appropriate emergency procedures or recommend specialized care when necessary.
