USMLE Step 2 CK | Extended 4-Hour Simulation

Description

Prepare for USMLE Step 2 CK through an extended four-hour simulation designed to reproduce the pacing, clinical reasoning demands, and sustained concentration required by the current examination format. The simulation contains 158 questions distributed across eight 30-minute testing blocks. Questions emphasize application of medical knowledge and clinical science to patient care, with particular focus on diagnosis, selection and interpretation of diagnostic studies, management, pharmacotherapy, clinical interventions, prevention, prognosis, patient safety, professionalism, and evidence-based decision-making. Content is distributed across the major Step 2 CK system and discipline categories, including Nutrition; Legal, Ethical and Professional Issues/Patient Safety; Renal, Urinary and Reproductive Systems; Cardiovascular System; Musculoskeletal System/Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue; Behavioral Health; Blood and Lymphoreticular/Immune Systems; Gastrointestinal System; Nervous System and Special Senses; Respiratory System; Multisystem Processes and Disorders; Endocrine System; Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Puerperium; Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Medical Literature; and Human Development. Questions may use patient-centered clinical vignettes, chart-based presentations, laboratory results, diagnostic imaging, scientific abstracts, sequential clinical information, and other formats designed to test clinical reasoning and management decisions. The examination is completed directly through the microscopIA website using a dedicated online testing environment. The platform is multiplatform and may be accessed from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. During the examination, a live Zoom session remains available with a human microscopIA agent providing real-time technical assistance. The support agent may assist with login difficulties, examination access, navigation, platform issues, or similar technical problems. Academic assistance and answers to examination questions are not provided during the simulation. After submission, participants receive feedback for every question, including the correct answer and an educational explanation or review where applicable. This allows participants to use the examination both as a performance simulation and as an intensive post-examination study resource. This is an independent educational simulation.
