Session Format and Fee
Each Medical English or Medical Spanish session is a 60-minute integrated educational session priced at USD 15.
​The session is designed to integrate clinical communication, medical vocabulary, patient interaction, and clinical reasoning within the same case.

Clinical Simulation and Communication Feedback
The first 30 minutes consist of a realistic clinical encounter in English or Spanish. The participant assumes the role of the healthcare professional, while the instructor acts as the standardized patient.

Feedback focuses on:

Clinical vocabulary and language accuracy

Clarity and organization of communication

Empathy and patient-centered communication
-
The patient’s perspective of the interaction

The instructor may adapt the scenario and feedback according to the participant’s level and the clinical case.

Case-Based Medical Knowledge Assessment
The second 30 minutes consist of an online assessment based on the clinical case presented during the session.

Pathophysiology

Clinical presentation and differential diagnosis

Diagnostic approach
-
Interpretation of clinical findings
-
Clinical decision-making and workflow
-
Pharmacology and treatment
-
Follow-up and management

The assessment uses a USMLE-style question format for educational purposes. It is not an official USMLE examination and does not provide professional certification, licensing, or examination credit.

Feedback and Recording
Following the session, the instructor will provide an individualized written report by email within 24 hours. The report may summarize communication strengths, areas for improvement, clinical language, patient interaction, and recommendations for further practice.

The session may be recorded only with the participant’s prior consent. If recording is authorized, the recording may be provided to the participant by email.

Online Participation, Scheduling, and Privacy
Sessions are conducted online using Zoom and the microscopIA platform.
Participants are responsible for having:

A reliable internet connection
-
A functioning camera and microphone
-
A quiet and private environment
-
Minimal interruptions during the session
Participants may reschedule through their account up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability. Late cancellations, no-shows, or technical problems attributable to the participant may result in the session being considered used.
If microscopIA or the instructor cancels a session, an alternative session will be offered.

Participants must not disclose identifiable information from real patients during the session. The service is educational only and does not constitute medical care, clinical supervision, professional advice, licensing, or certification.
